CONTINUING EDUCATION

The course prepares students  to assist with self administered medication in an assisted living facility pursuant to the training requirements of Rule 59A-36.011, F.A.C., and must be available to assist residents with self-administered medications in accordance with procedures described in Section 429.256, F.S. and this rule.

This course prepares to student to administer medications for APD consumers in group home or private home setting in accordance to APD Rule 65G-7 Medication Administration.
